MULTI-SPINDLE SCREW MACHINING

The multi-spindle screw machine is a turning machine that allows multiple tools to cut multiple pieces of material simultaneously. Multiple spindles are carried in a precision machined drum that rotates in a horizontal orientation. The total number of operations needed to complete a part are divided among the number of spindles, so that a part is completed with one full rotation of the drum.

The primary benefits of these machines are speed and efficiency. We feature multi-spindle screw machines that can handle parts up to 1 ¾ inches in diameter, with attachments capable of cutting many types of shapes. These machines are perfect for improving the profitability of your high-volume production runs.

We feature over two dozen multi-spindle screw machines to meet a broad product range, including 11 Wickman 6-spindle automatic pick-off and back drilling machines, plus 12 Davenport 5-spindle automatic pick-off, slotting and cross drilling machines.
